Need important papers destroyed? Come to Largo's Shredfest | Events

Largo, Florida -- In celebration of America Recycles Day, the City of Largo welcomes residents to Shredfest, the first paper shredding and recycling event where residents can bring their personal paper documents to be securely shredded and recycled.
Shredfest will be held at the Starkey Road Recycling Center, 1551 Starkey Road from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17.
"This drive-thru event makes it easy for the public to shred and recycle their personal documents," said Marissa Segundo, Largo's recycling coordinator. "Residents often ask about shredding events and with the help of ProShred this is now possible."
Attendees can bring up to five file boxes of paper per car to be shredded and recycled securely by ProShred. There is no need to remove staples, tape, paper clips or rubber bands.
