Largo's 5th Annual Trashy Fashion Show bigger than ever

Largo, Florida -- The trashiest and greenest fashion show to hit the runway is back in Largo. In celebration of Earth Day, the 5th Annual Trashy Fashion Show will take over the Largo Cultural Center on April 21 to feature amateur "green" designers of all ages.

Participants are encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle to fashion their wearable 'green' designs of at least 75 percent recycled materials.

Models will dazzle the 30-foot runway with their innovative "trashion" designs at 6 p.m.

Largo, Florida -- Applications are now being accepted for the 5th Annual Trashy Fashion Show, held at the Largo Cultural Center on Saturday, April 21 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Amateur eco-fashion designers can apply to showcase their 'trashions' or fashions created from items that would otherwise have been discarded. The Trashy Fashion Show is an educational event that celebrates Earth Day.
